**The 330-carat Star of Asia, which is from Burma, is said to have belonged to India’s Maharajah of Jodhpur. The gem is now in the collection of the Smithsonian Museum.**

Presented is a fine pair of diamond & sapphire platinum & 18K white gold drop earrings.

These magnificent earrings feature a pair of cushion cut blue sapphires with large diamonds around them. These earrings are what call Red Carpet type, such fine sapphires and diamonds in this design are as rich as they get.

The earrings too had to be special made for the sapphires and surrounding stones making them unique and rare.

The diamonds in these earrings weigh 6.26 carats total, they are G to H color and VS to VVS clarity.

The sapphires are cushion cut, they weigh 13.02 carats total; they show a Royal blue color and they have light natural inclusions. Under magnification, these sapphires look like they are also unheated which makes them more valuable.

These earrings, as said, were hand made in platinum & 18K white gold weighing 13 grams total.

Each earring measures 47mm long and 16mm wide and both earrings are in New Old Stock condition.
